ENROLLMENT

NSA West will open in September 2010 as a public charter school (tuition free) in Highlands Ranch and the school’s Enrollment Policy will follow state and federal guidelines for charter schools. If you are interested in having your child attend NSA West, you must complete the Intent to Enroll form.

NSA West will serve grades preschool – 5th grade in its opening year, adding an additional grade each year to reach full enrollment of approximately 625 students in grades K-8 by the 2015-2016 school year. The school will target an average of 20 students per class in Kindergarten and 25 students per class in 1st – 8th grade. NSA West will offer both half-day and full-day Kindergarten programs. The full-day program carries a tuition of $3,500 per year.

All students will adhere to a strict dress code, including the use of Uniforms. The school will follow a traditional calendar school year. Click here to view the 2010-2011 school calendar.

Lottery for Enrollment
NSA West is required by the Colorado Department of Education to hold a lottery for enrollment for any grade that is oversubscribed (more interest than seats available). The lottery for the 2010 – 2011 school year for preschool through 5th grade was conducted on January 19, 2010.

If you are a new parent who is interested in having your child attend our school, please submit an Intent to Enroll form so that we may add you to our waitlist. Should a seat become available, our Enrollment Team will notify the next person on the waitlist. This person will have 48 hours to respond to the enrollment offer. If we do not get a response within 48 hours we will remove this name from our database and move to the next name on the list.

Registration Kit
Our lottery for enrollment was held on January 19th. If you have received a call offering your child a seat for the 2010-2011 school year, please click on the Registration Kit, print out each document, one per child enrolled, and bring it and your supporting documents to the MANDATORY registration session on Thursday, February 25th at the Highlands Ranch library any time between 5:45 – 8:15 p.m.
